Domain Registration Agreement

This Domain Registration Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("you," the "Registrant," or the "Registered Name Holder") and Revision Labs, Inc., operating BetterNamer ("BetterNamer," "we," "our," or "us"). It governs every domain name you register, renew, transfer, or restore through BetterNamer.

You accept this Agreement each time you place a domain order. The order record for each domain — the domain name, your name as Registrant, and the order date — forms part of this Agreement for that domain. We retain these records for at least two (2) years after the end of the registration term.

1. Our Role: Reseller of an ICANN-Accredited Registrar

BetterNamer is a domain reseller; BetterNamer is not itself an ICANN-accredited registrar. Every domain you buy through us is registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar partner, which becomes the sponsoring registrar of record for that domain.

This table is the authoritative list, and we keep it current — see section 2 for how it can change. The registrar sponsoring any individual domain is also shown on that domain's page in your dashboard, and appears in public WHOIS/RDDS records.

You are the legal owner (registrant) of your domain. We submit your contact details to the registry as the domain's owner. ICANN policy and our registrar partners' terms place you, the registrant, above BetterNamer in deciding what happens to your domain. If BetterNamer is ever unresponsive, you may contact the sponsoring registrar for your domain directly to obtain your transfer authorization code or make changes to your domain.

2. Adding or Changing Registrars

We may work with more than one registrar, and we may change which registrar we use. These relationships change for ordinary business reasons — price, reliability, TLD coverage, technical capability, or a partner ceasing to serve us. We reserve the right to:

• add further ICANN-accredited registrars, and route registrations to whichever partner we use for a given TLD;
• change the registrar we use for new registrations at any time, which affects only domains registered after the change; and
• transfer domains already registered through BetterNamer to a different ICANN-accredited registrar, subject to the notice and protections in this section.

We will update the table in section 1 to name any registrar we add or change to, and publish it as a new version of this Agreement.

2.1 If we move a domain you already own

Moving an existing domain to a different registrar is an inter-registrar transfer, and it changes who sponsors your domain. When we initiate one, the following apply:

• Advance notice. We will email the registrant address on file at least thirty (30) days before transferring a domain you already own, naming the registrar it will move to and the date of the move.
• No charge to you. We bear the cost of a registrar change we initiate. You are never billed for it.
• Your term is never shortened, and usually grows. Registry rules for most gTLDs add one (1) year to the registration term on an inter-registrar transfer. Where that happens you receive that year at no cost and your expiration date moves out accordingly. A transfer we initiate will never shorten your registration term.
• Your domain and its settings carry over. Registrant details, nameservers, DNS records, and your auto-renew setting are preserved. WHOIS privacy is re-applied wherever the new registrar supports it for your TLD.
• You may decline by leaving instead. If you would rather not move with us, transfer your domain to a registrar of your own choosing before the migration date — see section 11. Your authorization code and domain unlock are available self-serve at any time, and we will help if you ask.
• A completed transfer can briefly restrict further transfers. ICANN policy permits a registrar to refuse an inter-registrar transfer for 60 days after a previous one completes. If you intend to move your domain elsewhere yourself, do it before the migration date rather than after.
• Renewal prices can change. Renewal pricing follows the registrar that fulfills your domain, so a registrar change may move a TLD's renewal price up or down. We show your renewal price before you pay in every case, and never charge a renewal without displaying the price first — see the Domain Renewal & Expiration Policy.

2.2 Registrar-specific terms

Your registration is subject to the policies of the registrar sponsoring your domain, in addition to ICANN's policies and those of the applicable registry operator. Those policies differ between registrars. When we add or change a registrar partner, the updated version of this Agreement identifies it so that you can see whose policies apply to your domain.

3. Accurate Contact Information

• You must provide accurate and reliable contact details — full name, postal address, email address, and telephone number — and correct and update them within seven (7) days of any change during the registration term.
• Your willful provision of inaccurate or unreliable information, willful failure to update it within seven (7) days of a change, or failure to respond for over fifteen (15) days to our inquiries concerning the accuracy of your contact details, constitutes a material breach of this Agreement and is a basis for suspension and/or cancellation of your domain registration.

4. Licensing a Domain to Someone Else

If you register a domain and license its use to a third party, you remain the Registered Name Holder of record. You are responsible for providing your own full contact information and for providing and updating accurate technical and administrative contact information adequate to facilitate timely resolution of problems that arise in connection with the domain. You accept liability for harm caused by wrongful use of the domain unless you disclose the licensee's identity and current contact information within seven (7) days to a party providing reasonable evidence of actionable harm.

5. Personal Data: Notice and Consent

• Purposes: The personal data you provide is collected to register and manage your domain: creating the registration at the registry, maintaining the registration record, providing WHOIS/RDDS data as required, billing, renewal notices, and support.
• Recipients: Your data is shared with the registrar sponsoring your domain (see section 1), the applicable registry operator (and parties who receive data from the registry operator), and ICANN-mandated data escrow providers. Where you enable WHOIS privacy, your details are masked in public records but the underlying registrant remains you.
• Registrar changes: If we add or change a registrar partner as described in section 2, your registrant contact details are transmitted to that registrar so it can create or take over your registration. This is the same data, used for the same purpose, held by a different accredited registrar; our Privacy Policy names our current registrar partners and is updated whenever they change.
• Obligatory vs. voluntary: Name, postal address, email, phone, city, postal code, and country are obligatory; state/province may be optional for some countries. Data marked required at checkout is obligatory.
• Access and rectification: You can access and correct your registrant data at any time from your account's domain contact settings, or by contacting support.
• By registering a domain you consent to this data processing. If you supply personal data of any third-party individual (e.g., a contact person), you represent that you have given that person equivalent notice and obtained their equivalent consent.
• We will not process this personal data in a way incompatible with the purposes above, and we take reasonable precautions to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

6. Your Representations

You represent that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, neither the registration of the domain nor the manner in which it is directly or indirectly used infringes the legal rights of any third party.

7. Disputes, Suspension, and Cancellation

• Jurisdiction: For the adjudication of disputes concerning or arising from use of the domain, you submit, without prejudice to other potentially applicable jurisdictions, to the jurisdiction of the courts (1) of your domicile and (2) where the sponsoring registrar is located.
• Dispute policies: Your registration is subject to the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and, for applicable TLDs, the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) system, as well as any registry-specific dispute policies.
• Suspension / cancellation / transfer: You agree that your registration is subject to suspension, cancellation, or transfer pursuant to any ICANN specification or policy, or any registrar or registry procedure not inconsistent with them, (1) to correct mistakes by the registrar or registry operator in registering the name, or (2) for the resolution of disputes concerning the domain.
• Formal decisions: We will implement any formal decision regarding your domain, such as a UDRP decision or court order, and will cooperate in legal proceedings involving your domain.

8. Indemnification of the Registry Operator

You shall indemnify and hold harmless the applicable registry operator and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and expenses) arising out of or related to your domain name registration.

9. Term, Renewal, Expiration, and Deletion

Your registration lasts for the term you purchase. What happens as expiration approaches — reminder emails, optional auto-renewal, the post-expiry grace period, the redemption period and its restore fee, and eventual deletion — is described in our Domain Renewal & Expiration Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement. Renewal fees, post-expiry renewal fees, and redemption/restore fees are published there and shown in your domain dashboard.

Auto-renewal: If you enable auto-renew for a domain, you authorize us to automatically charge your saved payment method each year, approximately 25 days before expiry, at the then-current renewal price for the TLD. We email you a reminder before and a confirmation after each automatic renewal, and you can turn auto-renew off at any time from your domain dashboard. Auto-renew is off by default.

10. Fees

The registration price, term, and any ICANN transaction fee are shown at checkout before you pay. Renewal, post-expiry, and restore fees are published in the Domain Renewal & Expiration Policy. Premium domains may carry non-standard registration and renewal prices, which are always displayed before purchase. Prices depend in part on the registrar fulfilling your domain, and can change if that registrar changes (section 2).

11. Transfers

• You may transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, subject to ICANN's Transfer Policy. We will provide your transfer authorization code (TAC) and unlock your domain within five (5) calendar days of your request — both are available self-serve from your domain dashboard.
• ICANN policy imposes a 60-day transfer restriction following initial registration and following a completed inter-registrar transfer. This applies to a transfer we initiate under section 2 as well as to one you initiate.
• An outstanding balance is not a valid reason for us to refuse to provide your authorization code or unlock your domain.

12. Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Registrant

ICANN publishes a summary of your rights and obligations as a domain registrant: Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities. We encourage you to read it. Additional registrant educational materials are available at ICANN's registrant resources.

13. General

• This Agreement supplements the BetterNamer Terms of Service. If they conflict with respect to a domain registration, this Agreement controls.
• Registrations are also subject to the applicable policies of the registrar sponsoring your domain and of the relevant registry operator.
• We may update this Agreement; the version you accepted for each order is recorded with that order. Material changes apply to subsequent registrations and renewals. Where a change affects a domain you already own — such as a registrar migration under section 2 — we notify you as that section requires.
